Whale Watching Report August 7, 2024

Trip Highlights:

We started out in the fog but before were even at Haddington Island, we saw transient orcas heading west.  They didn’t touch the many sea otters.  At the back side of Malcolm Island we saw resident orca’s (A34’s). Close to Hanson Island we saw about 6 humpback whales, one with a calf, too far to identify.

Additional Comments:

The sun came out around 2:30 p.m.  It was a great day again.  And let’s not forget the 2 Pacific white-sided dolphins.
