Mackay Whale Watching Report September 9, 2020

Date:  September 9, 2020

Good day everyone!  This report is written by passengers on board the “Naiad Explorer” today, Heather and Stu Miller , who are from Campbell River, BC.

Trip Highlights:  (where we went, what we saw, etc.)

An amazing late summer day!  We travelled south from Port McNeill to the south end of Malcolm Island, and into Queen Charlotte Strait.  We saw at least 8 separate humpbacks, including Conger, Guardian, Claw and her baby Hammer.  After a trip by the northern sea lions, a playful group of Dall’s porpoises entertained us in the wake and by the bow.

Additional Comments:

Thanks for a spectacular day!
