Trip Highlights:
Went “where the whales were” under cover of dense fog. Saw many seabirds and an especially fine variety of Pacific fog. Once the sun arrived, we were treated to stunning mountain views, humpbacks (featuring Inukshuk and his kelp), several families of fish-eating orcas, porpoises, dolphins, Steller sea lions and sea otters. And a minke whale.
Additional Comments:
While not all orcas eat sea lions, 100% of observed orcas appear to enjoy scaring the bejesus out of sea lions. Bill and crew kept morale high and we are pleased to report all passengers returned to the shore very much alive.
A+ 10/10
