Trip Highlights: On our trip we saw several bald eagles, including a nest with two chicks. We saw 5 or 6 humpbacks trap-feeding at Donegal Head – Conger, Ripple, Argonaut and others. We were treated to a fluke tail in the air. We saw porpoises (not dolphins) swim and breach nearby. Fuzzy little sea otters lounged around in the kelp. We saw many harbour seals on rocks and many variety of birds. We went around Malcolm Island and had unreal beauty and water like glass.
Additional comments: We braced for a constant torrent of rain, but with the skill of the captain, we kept dry and even enjoyed moments of sun! What a beautiful place with beautiful marine life! Thank you 🙂
