Whale Watching Report August 18, 2026

Trip Highlights:  Before we’d even left the harbour we saw a sea otter!  Then on 30 minutes later we found a group of Orca.  It was so amazing seeing them so close!  Marieke was great at letting us know what individuals were spotted and how to ID them (I believe we saw A80?).  A pod of dolphins then rolled through and we saw them fishing and travelling with the rest of the Orca pod then came by (I believe we saw 9 total?).  The boat then sped off to find some humpbacks and were greeted by 3!  The main one we saw was Conger.  On our way back we saw a flotilla of very cute sea otters which was such a treat and then to top it off we saw another humpback (Kraken)!  It was a great trip!
