Whale Watching Report September 6, 2026

Trip Highlights:  From Port McNeill, we went through Cormorant Channel into Queen Charlotte Strait – we saw a few sea otters and about 10 distanced humpbacks (Black Pearl and calf), then saw about 9 Orcas (A34’s) including A55 coming right by the boat.  We saw fork-tailed storm petrel, red-necked phalaropes, northern sea lions, Dall’s porpoises, harbour porpoises, and all were quite close.

Additional Comments:  An AMAZING trip, beautiful day, with great and friendly staff and guests.  Thank you!
